Hi! My name is Seth Harris – the owner of Harris Home Builders.
I started out as a Residential Remodeling company with a strong focus on delivering High Quality Craftsmanship and Excellent Customer Service under the name Harris Home Improvement in 2018, after working for my father for 6 years before he retired.
I always did all the work myself with a simple helper every now and then, as needed. Throughout the years, I’ve completed Kitchen Remodels, Bathroom Remodels, Deck Builds, exterior Structural Repairs, Whole House Remodels, and I’ve even built a couple additions.
By 2020, I developed scoliosis from the imbalanced work involved with the trades. It took several years, a couple chiropractors, and a few physical therapists to help me figure out how to rebalance my muscles and get my spine straightened back out. This taught me a lot about the importance of proper work outs to maintain your health in the trades.
Then, just as I was getting over that, I developed an Autoimmune Disease in 2024 where I developed a severe allergy to all grains and most starches, as well as a hypersensitivity to all toxins, including those we are exposed to in the industry. This not only helped me learn a lot about proper diet and nutrition, but also led me to begin thinking about retiring from the tools and stepping up to become a Residential Builder.
Early on, I encountered a woman who also had severe sensitivities and wanted a house to be built. I did not have the opportunity to build that house to both our regrets, but it was thanks to her that I was introduced Building Biology. While there are certain certification programs in the United States for building healthier homes, none of them compare to the international standard of Building Biology.
As a result of my own Autoimmune Disease, I naturally became quite obsessed with Building Biology and continue to study it to this day. Eventually, I plan to become certified as a Consultant, but in the meantime, there are other Consultants I can work with if need be, but I’ve already learned quite a lot about how to build healthy homes according to Building Biology standards. Shortly after this, a friend of mine from the Hindu culture, who introduced me to Transcendental Meditation, also introduced me to Vastu Architecture. Houses and Commercial buildings built with Vastu Architecture promote happiness, health, success, wealth and higher consciousness. As a long time student of Sacred Geometry and Natural Law, I also became quite obsessed with Vastu Architecture. To learn more about Vastu Architecture, click here.
Having changed my business name to Harris Home Builders in 2024, I finally started receiving regular requests for building projects in 2026. I do not build exclusively according to Vastu Architecture and Building Biology standards because not everyone wants that. But as it is my dream to build according to these standards, these options will always be available to those who desire them.
Perhaps someday, I will have enough customers to keep me busy on Vastu projects with Building Biology standards. In the meantime, I always provide my standards of High Quality Craftsmanship and Excellent Customer Service.
